I began my radio career in Grand Rapids at WODJ. Oldies radio was my first job and my first love. So, I am very happy to be part of the COOL 101 family!

Almost every one of my favorite bands and singers can be heard here on COOL 101…

The Beatles, The Monkees, The Rolling Stones, Elvis, The Beach Boys, Billy Joel, The Hollies, anything Motown, and the list goes on and on!

I am not only a big fan of the music, but also of the music history. I love the story of Rock & Roll; the road to success that lead some to fame and fortune and others to a sad and tragic end. I’ve been working on my degree in “Musicology” for a long time now. (In case you’re wondering, no, that’s not a real degree)

Things are pretty busy at the Cassidy household these days. I’ve been married to my wife, Melisende, for 15 years. We have 4 beautiful children; 3 girls – Mackenzie, Sydney and Maddy, and the youngest, our son Lucas.

In my spare time, you may find me at the karaoke bar, or rooting for the Tigers, The Lions (yes, the Lions) and the Wayland Wildcats!
